Smaak Sjamaan is local business run by Loes and Menno who produce jams and sorbet ice cream from local and sustainable fruit. They have an ice cream shop in Culemborg along with an ice cream truck that operates throughout the region. Smaak Sjamaan approached Grounded Kitchen with aligned values and ethics to look for people who enjoy going to events with the ice cream truck.
Smaak Sjamaan goes to events almost every weekend in spring and summer, so it's nice to have a few people who are willing to do this. Typically, they need 2 ice cream scoopers per event, so there's also an opportunity for breaks. The days are often long due to setup and teardown.

Smaak Sjamaan offers fair pay. More than minimum wage and the opportunity to share in the profits

April 21st: sports event in Utrecht (survival run Simicus)
June 2nd: sports event in Nijmegen
June 8th: sports event in Eindhoven
June 9th: market in Doorn
June 30th: sports event in Den Bosch
Aug 23-25: food truck festival in Nieuwegein
We'll hear in a few weeks whether they’ve been assigned to the food truck festivals Trek, Lepeltje Lepeltje and Toost.
