Strings of Connection
Sara Pasternacki is a portuguese artist born in the year 2000. She recently graduated from her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Escola Superior de Artes e Design in Portugal. Sara Pasternacki’s approach to art has been characterized by her interest in creating a bridge between our inner and outer worlds, to play and bring into the physical realm people's desires, fantasies, stories and experiences. For her projects her main concern is to create work that stimulates people’s imagination through the development of environments that evoke the feeling of intimacy and conscious action. Her research finds its form and shapes in performance, video, installation and sculpture. Inês Sousa, a 22 year old performer, is an interdisciplinary artist who grew up in Lisbon. She graduated from her bachelor’s degree in Theater from Escola Superior de Artes and Design in Portugal. She works mostly through the body and composition, using movement and visual arts as vehicles to create moments in which everything that happens is genuine and true, on a stage that merges with life. She works through an attentive look at the world, protesting, reflecting and alerting on social, spiritual and cultural issues, focusing on translating concepts, logics, emotions and sensations.
