Grounded has joined forces with Local2Local to pioneer an alternative, fair, and health-conscious food system right here at the Utrecht Science Park. Grounded Kitchen's mission is clear: we aim to support our local farmers in their dedication to sustainable farming practices, and offer a respectable living wage to our young, creative chefs, all while providing high-quality, affordable cuisine.
Get ready to tantalize your taste buds because a bold new food concept is making its grand entrance. Grounded Kitchen's chefs are turning up with local veggies and worldly flavors. However, our commitment to innovation extends beyond just the taste.
This is made possible through the collective collaboration of everyone involved in the food chain, from the soil to your belly. Local2Local has been working with farmers and students for positive social and ecological impact in the region for over a decade, making them the perfect partner for this endeavor.
HU approached Local2Local with the idea of opening a local restaurant. Local2Local being experts in food transition but not restaurant entrepreneurs, asked Grounded if we were interested and our talented chefs eagerly stepped up to the plate.
