International Women’s Day 2024
Also this year, we will again come together at Grounded for International Women's Day to celebrate all women and other people of marginalised gender identities and sexualities. We will give the centre stage to people of these groups to share their art, music, experiences and ideas, and we are very excited to welcome all of you - no matter your gender identity or sexuality - to join the dialogue, learn from each other, push boundaries and have fun!
Only together we can learn, grow and make this world a better place
Program
A packed and diverse program is waiting for you! You can join workshops, talks and sharing circles around topics such as empowerment, sexuality and body positivity; join spaces for art & creativity; visit the Grounded Awareness stand for information materials, chats and creating some of your own art; and female DJs will take care of good sounds & vibes all day long. We will share the full program schedule here shortly, so stay tuned!
Food & Drinks
Local, vegetarian and super tasty food and drinks will be provided all day long by our Grounded kitchen team.
Date & time
Our doors will open at 12:00, and workshops will run from 14:00 to 18:00.
Location
The event will take place at our Grounded location in Utrecht: Fort Lunet I, Koningsweg 290, 3585 LD, Utrecht
Admission
Entrance is free for everyone, but we would greatly appreciate your support in the form of a donation. Grounded is a 100% volunteer-run collective and with your support, we will be able to continue giving people the opportunity to create and contribute to value-based initiatives that celebrate a tangible, sustainable culture - like this International Women’s Day event. So if you like what we do, please come visit us at the entrance or at the Grounded Awareness stand where you can leave your donation
Do you want to help?
We are still looking for a few more volunteers, so if you want to help us create this space to celebrate all women and marginalised groups on March 9th, please let us know via this short form.
